Who are we?

ESNO was founded by me, Callum, I'm a 22 year old engineering graduate, however I've always known that I've wanted to work for myself and having developed my passion for videography and drone flying over the years, I've combined them to create ESNO Media, a professional drone videography and photography company.

Since having graduated in 2017 I have travelled to many areas of the world and my drone has been there right by my side almost all of the time. During this time I have a gained a vast amount of experience flying drones and editing video and this is where my passion really stemmed from. I've realised the massive potential drone filming creates for portraying a totally different and immersive perspective of your subject.

From flying on the snow filled mountain tops in Canada to the secluded beaches of Formentera and the Highlands of Scotland, I've been fortunate enough to film some incredible landscapes and gained huge amounts of experience in the process.

More recently we've been expanding our portfolio into the areas of both residential and commercial property, car dealerships, property developers and are looking into areas of insurance and sports analysis.

I love what I do and I greatly enjoy the process of  getting from the initially stages of filming and planning to the final edited video that has captured exactly what my clients are looking for.

Thank you for looking at our website and I look forward to working with you in the future.

How do we operate?

We operate to a high level of professionalism in our work as we believe safety and quality footage are the top priorities. This is why we thoroughly prepare and plan before arriving on site, ready to start the task.

To ensure safety and quality are not compromised there is a significant amount of background work we complete that is not seen during the day. This includes analysing multiple sources of weather forecasts for the surrounding area, including terminal aerodrome forecasts (TAFs - a weather report specifically for use in aviation), site analysis and surrounding areas of concern (airports, buildings, roads, railway lines), inspection of nearby airspace and any temporary restrictions (NOTAMs - Notices To Airmen), this is the expected practice of a qualified drone pilot holding a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation).

Furthermore our drones are serviced and kept up to date with the latest approved software. This background planning is essential to ensure all risks are considered and mitigated and the filming on the day runs as smoothly and as safely as possible. These factors and our commitment to safety are what drives a significant proportion of the cost of our services.
